Description
Today there are no common track and trace solution to customer. This smart service provides a seamless Track and Trace for all transportation modes
- SWL
- block trains
- intermodal.
Alerts can be defined and set upon requests depending on customer need. The service shall be integrated with
- other mode carriers
- ETA,
- ETI,
- Experienced ETA and
loading conditions (e.g. humidity, temperature etc) This information shall be visible per customer transport/load. This transparency will help the customer to integrate the transport link into his value chain.
Use Case
Customer follows his transport
The customer can monitor the fullfillment of this transport across several modes. He stays informed and can act in case of an upcoming deviation in time (delayed ar earlier).
Customer receives arrival predictions
The customer receives predictions about the arrival at the final destination and can arrange his planning accordingly.
Customer ensure the defined limits
The customer can ensure the defined limits for precious load, like temperature, moisture and acceleration.

Adapting business scenarios form the B2C logistics (parcel service) to the B2B railway logistic. Service should be the main target because of the customer-orientation and might be the final result of many other basic- and smart-services at the end. 2 main information are necessary: ETA and discrepancies to promised quantity or quality of the goods.
