Description
The Train Preparation domain encompasses the communication flows between the preparing RU and the other participating RUs and the IM. The RU may be obliged to deliver the train composition for those trains he will run. At the departure and each intermediate station where the train characteristics changes the RU sends the Train Composition to the Infrastructure Manager for the next segment.Before each interchange point the handinf over RU collects alle necessary information for the train composition and informs the handedover RU about the train (train preadvice in H30).

Workflow
Routing
The handing over RU sends a H30 message to the handed over RU after the train has left the last intermediate station and before the train arrives at the next interchange point. A copy of this message is sent to RailData-ISR. Train Preparation workflow

The train pre-advice data consists of the following information:
- Train Number
- Planned handover time
- Shipping, interchange, and destination locations and countries
- Information on the locomotive
- Wagon numbers and technical information on the wagons in the train
- Damages
- Commercial data

WDI For RU without own IT RailData offers the possibility to enter H30 messages via the WDI web interface. These messages are forwarded to the handed over RU by RailData. Also RailData may act as receiver of H30 messages for small RU and provide the received messages by the web interface.
